Red Lentil – 300 gms.
Onions(finely chopped) – 1.
Green Chillies (finely chopped)- 2.
Asafoetida or Hing -A Pinch.
Salt – According to taste.
Chopped fresh coriander -According to your need.
Step 1 – Wash and soak the red lentils for four hours.Grind the lentil slightly coarsely.
Step 2 -Add chopped onions,green chillies,salt,asafoetida and coriander to the lentil batter.
Step 3 – Mix it up well. Heat oil in a wok. When it is hot add dollops of the batter in the oil and fry it up.
Step 4 – Take out the fritters on a tissue paper and serve with green chutney or green chilly sauce.
